Number 1 is approve proclamation 1. Approve proclamation honoring active members of the military, military reserves, and our military veterans on the occasion of armed forces day on may 15, 2010. Commissioner huber?

>> we are very glad to have many active military reserves and veterans in travis county, i'm -- i would like to read this proclamation in honor of them. Whereas on august 31st, 1949, under the presidency of harry s. Truman, secretary of defense lewis johnson established armed forces day to collectively recognize the men and women serving in the five u.s. Military branches, army, navy, marines, air force and coast guard. And whereas armed forces day recurs on the third saturday in may and it is a day when we show our appreciation for the commitment made by the men and women serving on active duty in the reserves and our veterans. And whereas we honor these dedicated individuals for their bravery and sacrifice to support and defend our country, our freedom and our way of life. And whereas an exhibit of the traveling vietnam wall, the largest replica, an 80% replica of the vietnam veterans memorial in washington, d.c. Will be on display at the Lake Travis high school football field from may 11th through may 17th, 2010. Now therefore be it proclaimed that the travis county commissioners court does hereby recognize armed forces day and encourages all travis county citizens to join the court in honoring the members of our military and our veterans. Move approval.

>> second.

>> > mr. Reeferseed.

>> thank you, judge.

>> ronnie reeferseed here wanting to express my support and deep appreciation for the service of our armed forces and just in passing my father was a decorated veteran and of course -- of course gus pena shares his -- wisdom with us as a veteran and, you know, if we just get on top of this, we -- it's just the -- a fact that more veterans gave more money to dr. Paul's campaign during the last presidential primary season than all of the other candidates combined. Why is that? It's because they know that these endless wars are not good for anybody. So speaking for peace and to help save the lives of our brave soldiers all over the world, let's bring 'em home. Thanks again.

>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Ms. Portder, do we -- ms. Porter the record does indicate the absence of commissioner gomez still recovering and hopefully will be able to join us sometime very soon. Let's indicate our intention to call up number -- item no. 2 next and then we'll go to item no. 7.
