We call number 3 up at eleven o'clock. Number 4, approve proclamation recognizing referenced bruno c schmidt for his member shin ship on the travis county historical commission since 1978. And is mr. Schmidt here? Would he is entourage please come forward. Based on the number of people here in his behalf e behalf, he is here in spirit. Should i reid the proclamation or should you all talk us through it?

>> judge biscoers commissioners, thank you so much for issuing this proclamation. Referenced schmidt has been a long time member of our commission and is well recognized certain lie in the church community here. He is no longer able to serve on the commission and is currently at the summit at Lakeway nursing home, i guess, so that is the reason he is not here today.

>> okay.

>> we do appreciate you reading that proclamation.

>> it reads, whereas the referenced bruno c schmidt has faithfully served as a member of the travis county historical commission since 1978, whereas referenced schmidt served as chairman of the commission for three years, whereas referenced schmidt demonstrated his deep interest in austin's history when he published a book entitled historic churches of austin, and whereas the travis county historical commission confers member emeritus status with the signature of the chair of the commission affixed there to, therefore be it resolved that the travis county commissioners court of the state of texas salute the service of referenced schmidt and does thank you him with sincere regard for his contribution. I move approval.

>> we join the historical commission for thanking schmidt for his many years of service and want to wish him well. Urge others to go out and get a copy of that historic churches of austin book.
