21 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding the potential purchase of real estate from travis realty corp for the property located at 700 lavaca street.
consultation with attorney and real estate exceptions.
22, consider and take appropriate action regarding selection of and funding mechanisms for purchase of open space land in precinct 1.
consultation with attorney and real estate exceptions to the open meetings act.
23, consider and take appropriate action concerning the settlement offer regarding payment for starflight services rendered to kathy kuecker.

24, consider and take appropriate action concerning the settlement offer regarding payment for starflight services rendered to justin goodwin.

25, consider and take appropriate action concerning the settlement offer regarding payment for starflight services rendered to christian gibbs.

and a-1, consider and take appropriate action on request to authorize director of facilities management to enter into license agreements for short-term use of county property at 1310 farm-to-market road 1626, otherwise known as the community center.

we'll discuss these items in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.


We announced beginning with a 1, the matter involving whether to authorize the director of facilities to enter into short-term license agreements for various parties to use county owned property at 1310 f.m.
1626, otherwise known as the community center.

>> I move that we direct legal to draft a temporary license agreement to be used for each of those special events, prior to the termination of the license of this property and that are on the calendar through June 15th.
that we authorize facilities management to execute those temporary license agreements and also authorize facilities management in coordination with the precinct 3 Commissioner to charge each licensee a minimum fee that is sufficient to cover the basic expenses incurred by the county for that event.

we probably ought to get additional updates next week so we will have it on the agenda just in case we need it.

22 matter involving the selection of and funding mechanisms for purchase of open space land in precinct 1.
specifically land in our master plan and otherwise.

>> judge, I would like to appoint greg chico as the interim lead person for Travis County.
to pursue, to look at it and bring back to the Commissioners court a report on -- on acquisition of -- of real estate for open space purposes within that particular map and green print in precinct 1 and that appointment, interim appointment will -- will last until -- until joe gieselman returns.
so I would like to make that greg chico that lead person on this particular acquisition.

23 is the first item involving an invoice for star flight services rendered to several individuals.
the others but 23 involves kathy kuecker, move that we apply the 50% rule, which would mean that we would offer to settle her claim for $4,938.

24 is the star flight invoice to justin good win.
we got an offer to settle from united health care, consistent with previous actions involving offers such as this I move we reject the settle offer.

25, invoice sent to christian gibbs for star flight services rendered.
after listening to mr. -- mr. Gibbs carefully, I move that we reduce his -- his outstanding balance by 50%.
which would mean that we would settle for one-half of $7,834.50.

it ought to be half of the amount owed, if you want to do your arithmetic later.

26 is the matter involving victor anderson who appeared before us this morning and the invoice that we sent him.
I move that we agree to settle the outstanding balance for $885 and the understanding that -- that mr. Anderson will only be sent one bill.
