Now, number 14 is to consider and take appropriate action on requests from the national guard as of Texas and the Texas military forces for reduced rental fee for their rodeo at the exposition center on August 21, 2010.

i have with me michael norton, the director of the exposition center and to my right we have the executive director of the national guard association, mr.
ray linder.
the national guard association of Texas and the Texas military force will host their 132nd general conference of the national guard association of the united states in Austin, Texas, and August 22, 2010.
but they will -- they asking to rent the facility at the expo center, all the facility on August 21 where the event will occur at the expo center.
they renting the whole event, all the facilities, plus the arena is for two days, one day before and one day after.
normally, it's an entity rent the whole facility, they will get a 15% discount which is approved by the court.
then the national guard association requesting 50% discount on the facility rental only and that will be an additional 35% discount which is a $5,005 in rent.
i will turn it over to mr.
linder for additional information about that event.

this is the national guard association of the united states annual conference, called the governor's reception and we're hopeful the governor will be there for the reception.
it's our intent to be able to show off Austin over the three days that the conference is in session.
the folks from all over, all 54 states and territories will be here.
we will have all of the leadership of the national guard from every state and territory.
we will have the national leadership, as well.
we generally have leadership of the army and air force present.
we have the chief of staff of the air force and chief of staff of the army in the past year.
if it is election year, we have election candidates for president to come.
we do expect to have quite a few other folks, asking with, that will be coming.
we're excited to be able to show off Austin.
>> so I understand even after the 50% discount the rental fee we would receive would be $18,725?
>> that's correct.
the math is correct.

>> have you all used the facility before?
>> no, sir, we've not.
>> state national guard.
>> no, this is the first time their entity is using the facility.
>> the state national guard has used it before.
>> the Texas state guard?
>> I think so.
