15.
consider and take appropriate action on request from the transportation and natural resources (tnr) department for a reduced fee to use the Travis County exposition center banquet hall for tnr employee development day.
it's not a non-profit, this is part of the Travis County government.

>> it would be -- it's on a Friday.
is there any possibility of holding this event not on a Friday or mr.
norton can you speak to -- is that Friday just not being booked?
having done a little bit of this in a previous life, Fridays and Saturdays are usually high book days.

>> [one moment please for change in captioners]

>> the date I'm looking at is December 11th.

>> correct.
this is a county sponsored event.

>> the date I'm looking at is Friday of this week.

>> this Friday.
move approval.

>> second.

>> court members are not invited to this picnic, right, joe?

>> [laughter]

>> not unless you bring your own briskit, judge.

>> to pay for the cost with the electrical and custodial and they did agree to pay for that.

>> move approval of 15.

>> second.

>> discussion?
joe, this is what year?
how many years have you done this?

>> oh, we've been doing it probably over a decade.

>> that's a whole lot of discounts, isn't it, roger?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
yes, sir.

>> is it possible to -- to pass it for a five-year period for them?

>> no, sir, I think we ought to look at that policy.
and I do agree for awful these, whatever we end up doing, we ought to try to put in place a multi-year deal.
i will support three more than five.
the country boy in me says if your term is four years, don't commit to county for longer than that unless you have to.
three or four in my view makes more sense than five, but I do think a multi-year term should be adopted and applied.
to all of them.

>> okay.

>> that will save you and us some time, right?
okay.
that passed?
