Number 2 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding the program year 2008 consolidated annual performance evaluation report for the community development block grant provided by the u.s.
department of housing and urban development.

Travis County received community development block grant funds from the u.s.
department of housing and urban development.
annually we receive an allocation for program year 2008.
that allocation was 833133 $833,133.
every year we also have to do an annual report.
our program year runs from October 1st through September 30th, our annual report is December due on December 30th.
we have to hold a 15 day public comment and one public hearing during that time.
the public comment for the anul report began on December 2nd, will end on December 16th.
we have some powerpoints that I'm not going to go through, but we have one that has specific information about particular projects, but in summary during program year 2008, we spent approximately $486,000 and benefited 310 people.
we completed four different projects, we have four that are in process of being implemented and we anticipate throughout the next year 12 to 18 months that those other projects will be completed.
