chris moffat, Travis County health and human services, today we are coming to request the program year 2009 grant agreement for the community development block grant fund.
the Commissioners court approved the action plan back in August of this year and we have received the grant agreement so that we can begin to access and use these dollars for program year 2009.
so as a result we are requesting that you approve this grant agreement and authorize the county judge to sign it on the court's behalf.
it will allow us to access $866,380.
the funds that will be towards improving communities and neighborhoods with -- with a variety of different services.
