receive comments regarding a request to authorize the filing of an instrument to vacate eight five-foot drainage easements located on lots 1 and 2 within block 48 of Austin lake hills, section one and lots 3 and 20 within block 48 of Austin lake hills, section three subdivisions.
i move that the public hearing be opened.

the purpose of this item it's to vacate some drainage easements so that -- so that a constituent can rebuild a failing septic system.
we did get a letter from their engineer saying that the drainage easements weren't needed for drainage purposes and since some of these easements have to do with adjacent lots, we did get something in writing from the adjacent homeowners stating they do not object to this motion so staff recommends this motion.
