questions, mr.
reeferseed?
>> it's more that a comment that I'm in favor of all these attempts to get on top of these drug problems, but my comment, my only addition to that was really that we would be a whole lot further down the road of solving these problems of drug usage and the criminal aspects involved if we would just face reality on medicinal marijuana.
it's available to us.
it's something that the rest of the country is kind of figuring out and those states that have the capacity to pass resolutions to that effect have already done so.
and this is yet another opportunity for me to just throw out my two cents about saving our country and preserving topsoil to help feed the future through freedom for farmers.
freedom for farmers is not too much to ask and our founding father george washington was not only a hemp, marijuana farmer, he was a user.
he consumed marijuana.
he smoked it.
so, and he's not the only one and there's a lot of our founding fathers who were hemp farmers and it's just a way to get on top of this and we would be able to lead the world by example through freedom for our farmers, which as we all know family farms are evaporating.
and so I'm in favor of these drug prevention policies generally in relation to the scourge of our time that is alcohol, which is killing people all day every day, retarded babies born, you know, fetal alcohol syndrome, on and on and on.
but very cleverly ignored by the news media and everybody else in the media.
so and they keep jumping on marijuana.
it's so backwards.
but then again, I'm proud of Travis County and our sheriff's department and their way of moving forward on this so I just wanted to throw in my two cents.
thank you, sir.
>> move approval of 15-a and b.
>> second.
>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
