Now let's call to order the Travis County bee cave road district number 1, the galleria.
item number 1 is to consider and take appropriate action on request to adopt order setting the Travis County bee cave road district number 1 tax rate for the year beginning January 1, 2008-2009, total debt service tax rate and total county ad valorem tax rate.
a, total debt service tax rate.

>> and I move that we set the ad valorem tax of .964 for each hundred dollar valuation of all taxable property for debt service and to provide sinking funds and pay interest on the above mentioned bond issues.

>> second.
discussion.
all in favor?
show Commissioners Eckhardt, Commissioner and director Eckhardt, Gomez, Huber and your truly voting in favor.
Commissioner Davis abstaining.
number b, total --, but, total county ad valorem tax rate.

>> judge, that would be the same tax rate since there's no maintenance and operation rate, so it would be just as we did on the last district.
just to approve that point 6984 as the total tax rate.

>> move approval.

>> discussion?
all in favor.
Commissioner Davis abstaining.
Commissioner director Eckhardt, Gomez, Huber and your truly voting in favor of the motion.
2, consider and take appropriate action on request to adopt order approving the Travis County bee cave road district number 1 budget for fiscal year 2010.

>> and I move approval of the budget that is attached on page 1, $314,849.37.

>> second.

>> that will do it?

>> yes, sir.
that's what's on page 1 of the attachments.

>> that and a whole lot of other numbers.

>> well, I will explain.
the beginning balance is what we have in there now.
a little of that will be used to pay the appraisal district fees and pay an agent's fees.
and we set the tax rate at the legal maximum of 6984 because of the decline in value from what was expected this year.

>> and that tax rate will generate how much revenue?

>> that tax rate will generate -- it will generate 1,115,297, which just about matches the debt service.

>> okay.
discussion?
all in favor?
show Commissioner Davis abstaining.
director-Commissioner Eckhardt, Gomez, Huber and yours truly voting in favor of the motion.
thank you all very much.
there is no further business.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
that carries by unanimous vote.
