Travis County Commissioners Court
September 15, 2009,
Item 31
31.
consider and take appropriate action on order designating election day polling places for the November 3, 2009 joint special elections.
>> yes, sir, these are the election day polling places, what we want to keep in mind is early voting we've set up for sort of vote where you work, where you travel around.
whereas election day is guided by the boundary lines of your neighborhood.
for election day, your polling place is going to be very close to your home or house.
and if you -- if you can't find an early voting location that's convenient to your commute or your shopping trips, then you will also have election day in your neighborhood, available to you, those election day neighborhood polling locations are open 7:00 a.m.
to 7:00 p.m.
>> and you will get your voter registration precinct number off your registration card.
>> off the registration card and check and I would advise everybody, where you are planning to vote early or at election day, double check your polling places before you leave.
it's just very helpful not to make a that's.
>> comments, questions?
>>
>> [indiscernible]
>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
