Travis County Commissioners Court
September 8, 2009,
Item 7
7.
consider and take appropriate action on request to provide printing support for the national forum of black public administrators outlook 2009 conference in Austin, Travis County, on October 8 through 10, 2009.
this is just to ask Travis County for a printing contribution instead of cash.
>> that's correct, judge.
legal has advised me that they believe we need an m.o.u.
for this agreement.
>> we're providing and they're providing back, we're not just donating, which would have its own issues.
so -- but we are getting something in return for what the county is doing and I can do a real short, brief, little m.o.u.
that we can have that will set out both sides.
>> okay.
>> that makes sense to me.
>> okay.
>> we'll bring that back or you can authorize the judge to sign that, it will have just the information that's in your backup.
>> move that the judge be authorized to sign it assuming that the m.o.u.
is ready.
>> second.
>> and prepared and, judge, if you would sign that.
that's my motion.
>> we asked to authorize $750.
but we think it will be less than that.
>> absolutely, absolutely.
>> okay.
discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
>> thank you.
>> thank you.
>> thank you, sherri.
