Number 3 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding a proposed street name assignment for a private easement to be known as "hound dog trail" off fm 969, east of state highway 130 in precinct 1.

we've had a request from the del valle middle school in eastern Travis County to name an unnamed easement and as our tradition, we have -- we have designated a name and so -- to facilitate 911 responses.
the -- the student council came up with a name, hound dog, and it is in -- it is in -- after the school's mascot and to our knowledge there's no conflict with that name anywhere else in Travis County.

>> but we also want to make it -- make the school and the student council -- aware that Travis County will not maintain the easement, nor will we beat their dog
