Number 2 is a public hearing to receive comments regarding a request to authorize the filing of an instrument to vacate two five-foot public utility easements located along the common lot line of lots 1 and 2, cardinal hills estates, unit 15, a subdivision in precinct 3.

the purpose of this vacation is to vacate the common pue's on the common lot line so that the owner can build a house, over the two lots.
so staff got -- we sent the inquiries to the public utility easements.
we haven't found that anybody needs any of these pu e's, public utility easements, and we recommend the vacation.

>> would anyone like to give testimony during this public hearing?
if so, please come forward.

>> move that the public hearing be closed.

>> when we ask applicants to contact the utility company and the utility company responds, do they respond to us or to the applicant?

>> > they respond to the applicant and the applicant forwards us that -- that -- sometimes I think they also respond to us directly.
and -- and if they need an additional easement or replacement easement, they certainly give us that information along and the field notes and the new easement would be included in -- when we go to report it.

>> so if they have no objection, we see a copy of whatever document says that.

>> yes, sir.

>> okay.
and that was a motion and second to close this, right?

>> uh-huh.

>> all in favor?
