View captioned video.

39 is to receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action on claims from tecolote farmsrd raing water availability and related issues.
we do have ms.
petri here.
with legal we can discussion in executive session.
any open court discussion?
we have had this on the agenda a few times.
last time we were here two weeks ago we heard from professor john sharp and his gol geology services, I think the name of the defendant at the university of Texas.
i think they laid out probably three preferred spots where water should be available.
anything else to discuss in court?

>> judge, I want to make sure that the, speaking, I want to be sure some time ago when they came before the Commissioners court, I requested that they seek the support of the, the help and assistance of the environmental quality incentive program.
even stated the telenumber at that time.
this is months and months ago.
and of course, that number was 459-1623, extension number 3.
of course they had a program available for assistance.
so I don't know if that has actually happened.
but I do know that there is a provision in there according to the united states farm bewo and under this particular environmental quality incentive program that they have, had assistant money available back in April of this year.
but I don't even know if that is the case now.
so I just want to make sure that things something that we have tried to do to assist as much as possible.
thank you.

>> thank you, Commissioner Davis.
i did call that number which you recommended to us.

>> okay, right.

>> and I was told by the fellow whose name was listed on the letter you gave me that that program was just for bringing water to livestock.
so that doesn't help us in our situations as we grow vegetable.

>> okay.

>> thank you.

>> it was just for livestock.

>> it was just a program for livestock.

>> oak yeek doke.

>> I asked him who I should talk to for similar programs, called a few different numbers he gave me and didn't get anywhere for growing crops.

>> all right.
okay.
anyway, I was told something different.

>> I appreciated your research on that.
might have been an older program that had expired.
the people in the office at the time were not able to help me.

>> okey doke.
thank you.

>> anything else for open court?
ms.
petri, if I were a guessing man, I would guess that it would be an hour and a half before we get back to this item.
we have to have a discussion with our parking committee.
then go into executive session where we will discuss this item and a few others.
and we will probably need about an hour and a half to get that done, I'm guessing.

>> did you receive the additional information requested by the county attorney?

>> we sure did.
got that.

>> yesterday?

>> yesterday.

>> okay.
so you don't need anything else.

>> I think we have what we needokay.

>> okay.

>> except, well, I think we have what we need.

>> additional information yesterday?

>> just the revised claim.

>> right.

>> just that.
it was sent to ms.
thomas and she will have extra copies.
you will have extra copies available?

>> we will.

>> okay.
then let us indicate our intention to take up number 39 in executive session when we convene there for the discussions with legal.
