7.
consider and take appropriate action on Commissioners court program planning guide and authorize staff to release the document to broaddus and associates for use during phase 1 of the Travis County central campus needs analysis and master plan.

>> good afternoon, belinda powell.
planning and budget office.
this is a follow-up item from may 28th where you talked about the particulars of your program planning guide as individuals and then collectively as the Commissioners court and this document is intended to provide background information to broaddus & associates and their subconsultants that will continue the interview process and finalize needs assessment and analysis for all the county departments that are in the downtown, of which one is the Commissioners court offices and then the courtroom itself.
so I have incorporated the changes that we discussed at the work session related to some of the security improvements that you have already put in place in the granger building and asked that the consultant do a status check with you when they begin their interview processes in late July to see what you think of the improvements that you have in place now.
i have also added an item as an additional follow-up item to discuss, there was some discussion about -- about collective intern space or accommodating the use of interns differently or somehow in the configurations of your offices, whether it be additional space within the individual offices or whether it be kind of a pool area that's available on the floor, so that is highlighted as an area of additional comment or consideration for you with them when they get here.
and you will find that on the very last page of the document under the items that need further discussion from you.
other than that, think -- those were the two big issues that were discussed.
the document still carries with it the type of format that you have today that says that the Commissioners will generally have individual offices, you may have some shared area like the kitchen that you have on the fourth floor now.
the fifth floor now.
but -- but leslie has a follow-up, some discussion about whether or not shared reception would be appropriate or not, but also says that your offices will all be co-located or centrally located wherever that is, whether it's in the downtown campus or elsewhere.
so with -- with approval of the document today, it really is just an authorization to release this information to our consultants, it's something that you all degree is a good place for them to start their discussions with you when they come to town in the end of July.
are there any questions?

>> move that we authorize delivery of this document to our consultant.

>> second.

>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
with -- with Commissioner Davis temporarily off the dais.

>> thank you.

>> thank you.
