Number 3 is to consider and take appropriate action on the draft for public comment on the program year 2009 action plan related to the use of community development block grant funds available through the u.s.
department of housing and urban development.
>> good morning, christie moffat, Travis County health and human services.
the county is required to provide an action plan to propose the uses for its community development block grant funds.
$866,380.
i would like to make a note that -- amount is different than is originally posted on all of the advertising.
we received notification from h.u.d.
that there were some adjustments made to the '09 allocation.
they were reduced by $52.
the draft of the action plan and the advertisement amounts will not match.
last week we came to Commissioners court, the court approved projects for py '09, this plan we'll start public comment beginning tomorrow at 8:00 a.m., the public comment period will be open for 30 days.
we will conclude on July 23rd at 5:00 p.m.
we will also have two public hearings.
one June 30th,

we can receive verbal comments or otherwise provided in writing, they can e-mail me or call 854-3460 if they have any concerns or questions, or they can also mail those comments to for.

we are requesting approval of this draft to post for public comment beginning tomorrow.
the document will be available at all seven Travis County locations as well as on the Travis County internet.
