View captioned video.

Citizens communication is next and this item gives residents an opportunity to address the Commissioners court on any matter not on the agenda.
gus pena is number 1.
ronnie reeferseed number two.
good morning judge and commissions.
last evening we were at dell children's hospital, so we were viewing the proceedings.
anyway, he's doing a lot better due to dell's children outstanding hospital for children.
the recent paper issue this morning say the cuts at the city of Austin.
this is a menu of items that -- not hitting the bone anymore, hits the marrow.
these proposed cuts are catastrophic for the people.
number one, this is an issue that I was approached by a couple of people in the community and evaluating travel here at not only the county but at the city, you know, assess and evaluate all proposed travel

>> [indiscernible] other training or accommodations can be made closer to Austin.
also in the state of Texas.
in other words, we're looking at the budget.
looking at what impact travel has on the budget.
i hear people going to san diego to washington, whatever, you know, that's cool.
we need to know what's going on over there, but do we really need to be travelling to those areas sometimes?
we would ask that that travel be evaluated to see what kind of effectiveness or lack of effectiveness is undertaken to do training or travel.
anyway, president obama last week stated there would be more funding being made available for

>> [indiscernible] programs for the youth.
we have been advocating for summer jobs programs and creates funding for this for many years, when available and applicable the city of Austin is proposing to cut 750 jobs that youth or teenagers can apply for, be gainfully employed.
keep them active.
i thank the city of Austin and the county Commissioners court for doing an interlocal to provide funding, keep these kids involved in organized activities instead of organized crime.
crime is on the increase.
i know the homies are watching me here and at city council.
that's cool, I'm not scared of you.
but the issue is that we need to keep these kids out of trouble.
please continue to fully fund social service agencies.
poverty has increased with this economic downturn.
recession.
i think that we're going to see more catastrophic situations out there in the community as we are now.
at dell children's you see horror stories, families don't have money for food, families don't have money for rent.
the only way they will stay in the hospital with the kids, you know, not good.
and I know there's an item on the agenda, number 7 about housing, but this deals with other types of housing.
house the homeless, we need to evaluate all of the programs out there to see how it is being effective and effectively used for the community.
last item please support our military personnel serving throughout the world.
i'm a marine corps veteran.
when we got out here after vietnam, there was nothing for us out here.
we were in a freeze.
support our veterans.
we need jobs, comprehensive job training, ptsd, post-traumatic stress disorder treatment, also treatment for suicide prevention.
a lot of military personnel are committing suicide.

>> [buzzer sounding] anyway, continue the good work.
let's work closely on the budget to house the homeless and provide food, nutritious food for the people, poor, needy, havenots.

>> thank you, mr.
pena.
mr.
reeferseed.

>> thank you, judge.
thank you, gus pena.
yippee, I'm ronnie reeferseed.
today, let's all discuss hopefully the ongoing political melt down of one time so-called republican senator miracle arlan specter.
decades ago he was a lowly district attorney who sold his own soul to the devil by granting miraculous powers to a lowly pristine

>> [indiscernible] that turned up on the gurney and -- in parkland hospital in dallas, briefly the ongoing frame up of lee harvey oswald for supposedly single handedly choosing then governor john connally and u.s.
president j.f.k.
was contingent upon the nonsensical concept invented by specter that one of the bullets struck jfk supposedly in the back, came out his throat, changed direction mid air and entered the body of governor connally, shattered one of his ribs before lodging into his thigh.
that same miraculous bullet supposedly turned up pristine, ie without a scratch, on a hospital gurney.
how any such bullet could turn up pristine on a hospital gurney after causing such trauma is nothing short of miraculous.
republican in name only, specter continues to zionist enemies by single handedly hijacking the supreme court nomination of robert bjork and single handedly hijacked the republican party attempt to impeach, contradict and remove truly evil trader and womanizer slick con trader -- slick clicktrader.
of course damage puppet traitor obama dutifully an 1999ed as secretary of state.
not only joe build a burger biden and ms.
felony hog wash clint-trader.
stooge puppet trader obama was chosen for him to fully surrender our national interests to the military industrial bankster.
rahm emanuel as chief of staff is the first and last traitor that stooge puppet trader obama has to answer to each and every day of his criminal regime.
to learn more about what is really going on, one really needs to read american free press.net online or you can subscribe by dialing toll free 888-699-news.
ie 888-699-6397.
also online 24/7 is inforwars.com, alex jones, who knowingly predicted the 9/11 inside job of treason, also knowingly predicted the worldwide ongoing economic melt down, et cetera.

>> [buzzer sounding] locally here in Austin, 11:00 a.m.
to 3:00 p.m.
weekdays 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
on Sunday afternoon, we can listen to alex jones for free on 90.1 f.m.
radio, thanks for your patience.

>> thank you.

>> deputy sheriff ortz.

>> good morning.

>> good morning.

>> I am deputy kimberly ortz with the Travis County sheriff's office, I'm here to remind you guys that we're having our shootout, sheriff shootout this weekend coming up.
wanted to extends the invitation to the celebrity shootout which will take place Friday night beginning at 7:00, doors will open at 5:00.
it is a free event.
but donations are being accepted and we are raising money through our youth basketball tournament for local youth charities, which this year's benefactors will be the Austin children's shelter and the anne wolf boxing club.
this is an annual event.
we currently have I believe 27 teens that are playing in the tournament.
i think my furthest team coming from grand prairie near dallas.
folks are welcome to come out for the tournament which will be the celebrity shootout and finals at the delco center and we will also be using the l.b.j.
gyms as well for tournament play.
just wanted to mention a few of the celebrities we're going to have the celebrity team which is going to take on local law enforcement officers, so that is probably good for at least comedy relief if nothing else.
but some of our local law enforcement officers will completely cream --

>> well

>> [laughter]

>> I guess we have some advantages in our law enforcement tactics, who knows there may be some shenanigans going on there that to be clear the shootout is a basketball --

>> [laughter]

>> basketball.

>> basketball.
it's a basketball game.

>> [laughter]

>> we hope to keep it a basketball game.

>> [laughter] so some of the celebrities coach schnieder is going to be joined by marshal sanders to coach the celebrities.
jeff blake, terry cash, jason

>> [indiscernible], former globetrotter paul gaffe also

>> [indiscernible], paul carozo with run tex.
former u.t.
basketball players,

>> [listing names.
] some of our local media.

>> [listing names] former boxer and dr.
carla brown playing on the deal.
i wanted to extend the invitation everyone to come out and have fun and -- and enjoy the shootout.
thank you.

>> thank you.
