consider and take appropriate action on request to approve plan to advertise and select a consultant for homebuyer assistance programs.

>> good afternoon, I'm harvey Davis, manager of the corporation.
i'm asking you to approve our plan to -- to do an r.f.p.
for home buyer consultant.
we have done this several times in the past.
this is different than the past because it is not -- not related to a specific grant.
we expect that we will have the opportunity to -- to use -- have several home buyers assistance programs that's going to be related to the neighborhood stabilization program, or home funds that we have traditionally had.
in addition to an application for cdbg funds.
so we've -- what I would like to do is to do an r.f.p.
for a consultant that would be hired for our needs on -- on all -- all of these programs and the -- with the idea that the consultant would be -- would be -- have a contract that would go for a three year period.
and, I'm also asking you to approve the -- the evaluation committee, which would be the same people that was approved when we did an r.f.p.
very recently for -- for home buyer education.
>> so how do we spread the good news?
about this grand opportunity to serve?
>> we will do an ad in the Austin chronicle.
and then we will send out the r.f.p.
to at least three consultants.
>> and that will include our current consultant that we have who has done a fine job.
