View captioned video.

Are we to executive session?

>> yes, we are.

>> you say that with such enthusiasm that it makes me think we should have gotten there sooner.

>> [laughter] the good news is that item number 45 can be pulled, john healy learned from roger ann corey and that is because we have not met with the state yet.
that is number 45.
postpone.
44.
consider and take appropriate action to authorize Travis County staff to negotiate an additional lease covering forty-four Travis County school land, and 46.
receive briefing from the county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County, et al v.
prod land company, consultation with attorney exception.
47.
receive briefing from the county attorney and take appropriate action regarding the pending litigation in Travis County, Texas and state of Texas vs.
coldwater development ltd.
and rodman excavation, inc., et al, consultation with attorney, exception.
48.
consider and take appropriate action regarding proposal for downtown office building by d2000, a turn ke development company, consultation with attorney and real property exceptions.
49.
receive legal briefing and take appropriate action regarding the status of claims by chuck kelley (including the claims in eeoc charge nos.
31-c2008-01436c and 450-2009-00943).
1 the last five digits, 00943, consultation with attorney, open meetings argument, also.
we will discuss these items in executive session but we will return to open court before taking any action.

We postponed item number 45 previously.
did not discuss it.
46, I move that we approve and authorize the county judge to sign the proposed tax resale deed to kpd properties, llc.
the land in question, because they have paid to Travis County the sum of $10,232.82 in cash.

>> second.

>> discussion?
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
item 47 we did discuss.
no action required today.
48 we discussed also and got feedback from the county attorney's office.
move that we mull over those points and think of any additional ones and have it back on the court's agenda in two weeks.
instead of one.
and that is in view of the fact that Monday is a holiday and this is already a short week.

>> second.

>> any other -- we'll just do that unless there's objection.

>> okay.

>> okay?
the difference that I think is instead of one week, we ought to make sense if we do two.

>> two weeks?

>> yeah.
49 is a matter involving the claims by chuck kelly.
we did get a status report.
these are pending before the eeoc.
the direction the county attorney is taking seems plausible to me.
in my view no action is required by us today.
any different opinion?
then we'll leave it at that and the county attorney will let us know when to put it back on the court's agenda.
ms. Porter has moved that we adjourn today's meeting.
I second it.
all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
