Now, if we are lucky we have come to executive session.
this morning we indicated our intention to call up 10b in executive session and 10b is consider and take appropriate action on the scope search of the new medical Travis County office 2.
receive briefing from the county attorney concerning real property issues at 1213 sabine street and take appropriate .
this is with the attorney exception to with the open meetings acts, marietta want it was brief us a little bit on the golfsmith item and the golfsmith item is number 20

>> which we discussed this morning but that will be under consultation with attorney exception with the open meetings act, also, and number 22, is to Texas legislature; county legislative priorities, recommendations regarding the Travis County fire marshal: 1.
appoint Travis County fire marshal for a term certain; 2.
set an appropriate salary; and 3.
approve an appropriate bond.
1 and 3 23.
consider and take appropriate action regarding the potential purchase of real estate along airport boulevard.
that's consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act, 24, 24.
receive legal briefing and take appropriate action regarding financial incentives agreement with the domain/simon properties, consultation with attorneys, open meetings act, 25.
consider and take appropriate action concerning settlement offer regarding payment for star flight services rendered to jonathan gayosso.
1 consultation with attorney, and number 26, 26.
consider and take appropriate action regarding proposal for downtown office building by d2000, a turn key development company, posted under consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act.
we will discuss these matters in executive session but we will return to open court before taking any action.


We've returned from executive session where we discussed the following items. 10-b, the matter involving the real property located at 1213 sabine street for the medical examiner's office is located.
we did get a briefing from legal.

then we'll have that item back on at the appropriate time in the future.
we also discussed legal issues associated with item number 20, the golfsmith nomination as a Texas enterprise project and the public hearing that we approved this morning.

22 is the matter involving the apartment of a Travis County fire marshal.
I move that we appoint herschel noel lee as the Travis County fire marshal effective may 19th, 2009.
b, that we set his salary at the sum of $87,704.01.
and d, that we approve the bond in the amount of $10,000 that has been processed by risk management.

23 involves the potential purchase of real estate along airport boulevard.

move that we approve a letter of interest, loi, in the amount of $750,000 and communicate that to the property owner.

25 involves a settlement offer from mr. Jonathan gayosso, who owes Travis County for starflight services.
move that we accept the amount of $3,500 that has been offered to Travis County to be paid on his behalf.

>> my impression was that we were simply going to declare the intent of the court and she would then amend the document to comply with the intent of the court.
