4.
consider and take appropriate action on helicopter license agreement with american eurocopter corporation.

>> thank you very much, I’m danny hobby bee the executive manager of emergency services, what you have before you is a request by american eurocopter to utilize one aircraft for a small period of time to fly down to san antonio for a demonstration.
as the court is aware, we have a rather extensive relationship with american eurocotper because both of our aircrafts are that type.
we would have anticipated this more from them, this is rare they would ask this.
the reason why they do is convenience.
they will usually try to pick aircraft that are closest to the demonstration that they are doing so that it doesn't cost a lot of time and effort.
as you know, the 145's are on just not everywhere and every place.
so san antonio is close to us and that's why they've sent us the letter.
however, you will see that as far as the backup, that we do require thank you very much -- that they cover our expenses and so -- so in the back you will see a per hour charge of which wave agreed upon with them that they would provide us.
they would do it as a credit in our parts account.
so we just -- we feel like this is something that continued our relationship and as you know, we -- we may anticipate in the star flight business plan, continuing our relationship, to -- to where we -- where we invest even more time and effort with this particular company.
and so therefore we request to the court that we go ahead and accommodate this request.

>> we have done this before.
as well, haven't we?
where we got credit for -- for some of the work that was done and so it -- it worked out well.

>> yes, it has.

>> how long is it it take us to recapture a cost for a particular trip like this?
item like this?

>> okay.
let me -- if I can, I’ve got casey ping, the program manager for star flight and so that he doesn't kick me under the table, I will let him answer the questions, operationally.

>> good morning.
typically what would happen is once this flight is done, we would calculate the flight and the cost and then -- I -- pretty quickly they would give us a credit, so I would imagine within a week we would have the credit.

>> I didn't -- I didn't probably state my question correctly.
I was curious how long it takes us to use up that credit, within a month or six months?
I have no idea on your maintenance costs.

>> really it would just depend on where we are with maintenance requirements.
I mean, clearly one component could exceed this very easily and so it would literally just live in our credit history and account until it was used.
but we do have an inspection coming up.
and in about three weeks and I would assume that we would use it pretty quickly during this inspection.

>> I have one question, I suppose this is a question for the public they might want to hear.
will this impinge on our coverage level with star flight during the time that they have the helicopter in san antonio.

>> no, we would use the second aircraft, so the primary aircraft would remain in Travis County and the good part about being in san antonio is that if there was a need we could be back in about 30 minutes and so -- so it would not be our primary aircraft.

>> okay.

>>

>> [indiscernible] during the demonstration?

>> our request, the flight obviously to san antonio about an hour static display, answering questions about the personnel there, an hour back.
we are kind of envisioning gone four or five hours.
yeah.

>> okie-doke, thank you.

>> all those in favor?
unanimous.
is that motion, move approval.

>> second.

>> all in favor?
got a little ahead of ourselves here.
item 1 and then we'll go back to one.
okay.
