and what we need is for dieks eksstein in his best judgment to determine whether or not he thinks a full hour is needed on item 23.
and if not, we will give him whatever time he thinks he needs.
do do have a lot of executive session items, so these may take us awhile.

Now let's call back to order the voting session of the Travis County Commissioners court, and miss porter, I think this morning we got through all of the open court items.

conduct hearing and take appropriate action on appeal from December 15th, 2008, Travis County grievance panel decision in gerald siem versus Travis County facilities management department pursuant to Travis County code section 9.257 k and that will be under the consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act.

we have returned from executive session, we could -- we could have staff working on this and trying to figure out part or all of the mediation settlement, but I think we need another week and so in my view where he ought to have a 3 back on the agenda next week.

26 is the matter involving the parental representation and office of child representation I move that we ask the county judge and Commissioner Eckhardt, two members of the committee that set up these offices to check with the rest of the committee members, specifically judges mueller and born about the legal briefing that we received and decide how we should proceed.

the county attorney will meet with our district attorney and also the attorney general's office and report back too us at the appropriate -- back to us at the appropriate time in the future.
29 is the matter involving county owned property out near the -- the esd number 4 fire station and I move that we authorize county staff to proceed with this matter, to follow the steps that they outlined for us.
and to indicate that Commissioner Davis will be the -- the Commissioner for the sale of this property.
and if -- if -- after we communicate that to Commissioner Davis, if he has other plans we will put that back on the court's agenda.

highway 781 east that we need for the onion creek open space project, I move that we accept the offer to sell this property to the county for the sum of $90,000.

31 we did take up security issues here at the ned granger administration building and the directions we gave was for the security committee to look at this matter further.
and any court member that has recommendations to give those to the committee.
and -- and we will plan to have this back on the agenda on April 1st of '09 unless we hear otherwise from the committee.

33 we received a briefing, also, in my view no action today.
34 involves a proposed lease amendment or new leases between Travis County and the county health care district.
I move approval of the proposed leases.

and our -- our lawsuit along with the state against cold water development and rod man and based on staff's advice we need to have this back on the court's agenda in about two weeks and fortunately negotiating are proceeding in the right direction.
