>> now let's call back to order the voting session of the Travis County Commissioners court.
if we can go to the added item first.

consider and take appropriate action on setting hearing date regarding appeal from December 15, 2008 Travis County grievance panel decision in gerald siem v.
Travis County facilities management department, pursuant to Travis County code section 9.257(k).
we need to have that hearing next Tuesday.
march 10th.
and in our policy we say we will give each side one hour.
to present its case.
so I think we need to allow for at least two hours, two and a half hours.
last time we went -- not quite two, but I think it was like an hour and a half clearly.
we do have a lot of backup documentation, really voluminous documents, pretty good outline, though, of the competing contentions.
so in my view, what we ought to try to do is finish I guess as much as we can in the morning and maybe post this at what?

and have language that allows us to take it earlier if we can get to it.

>> so we'll have upon adjournment or earlier upon adjournment a recess of the voting session of the Travis County Commissioners court.

>> and I have asked my staff to circulate another copy of the policy that we saw last time so we can know exactly what we're supposed to do.

with that I move that we schedule a 1 for hearing on Tuesday, March 10, at 2:30 in the afternoon or earlier, upon adjournment or recess of the Commissioners court voting session.
