is to consider and take appropriate action on interlocal agreement describing collaborative relationship between Travis County and bastrop-travis emergency services district no.

this is actually the third phase of these particular agreements.
first I had brought to the court a template, which was an agreement that would establish a good working relationship between Travis County and the emergency services districts as well as the emergency services districts between themselves.
the second which you -- which you approved.
the second was to get the emergency services district to sign those agreements, of which 13 out of the 14 signed.
that was done back in October.
this particular agreement is the final agreement, meaning that we'll have 14 out of 14 emergency services districts signing this relationship agreement.
and its purpose is to initiate communication and to allow recommendations to come forward that would improve our overall emergency services, delivery of services to our residents.
so I'm quite proud of the fact that due to a lot of work with a lot of folks, that we now have 14 of 14 that are in this relationship agreement.
so today I'm just here today to ask for your approval that we go ahead and sign this last agreement and allow them to come in and join us.
i'm hopeful that this Saturday this particular representative will be at the meeting and can join the rest of us in trying to make improvements to our emergency services effort.
