25. Consider and take appropriate action on budget amendments, transfers and discussion items. The money for this non-routine transfer is the only item. I move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you all very much.

>> thank you.

>> by the way you didn't have much to say, but what you said you said eloquently.

>> I think the new chief ought to at least put his face on the television to folks can see who he is -- who he actually is, I mean --

>> [laughter] you need to come up. Chief deputy. And danny introduce him to the public. Say hey here he is. Present him.

>> first of all, I want to say to the judge and the Commissioners court thank you very much for the passing of the item. I think that it speaks, the h.r. Person did speak well of my chief. He does bring a lot to the table. I will let him speak, also. But also he's a people's person and that's what we need to move the precinct office to another level. The credentials speak for itself. But he's coming on and like the reason we brought it is because he's not as compatible to the other chief deputies, but close to it. In the near future hope we can get there. I introduce you to my new chief,.

>> thank you, constable.

>> my name is craig howard. I come -- to this department from Austin police department. I have spent 30 years there. Some of my assignments was working in recruiting, I was currently assigned to auto theft and addiction, also assigned to training. I also -- appointed vice-president and elected vice-president of the Austin police association, also president of the Texas peace officers association. Started here with precinct 1, going to be number 1. Actually we want to get out there, get out in the community. We have some projects we want to get started on and -- and I know it's a challenge, but I'm excited about being here, can't wait to get started.

>> welcome, welcome.

>> thank you very much.

>> got a lot of work to do. But welcome on board.

>> I will look forward to it.

>> okay.

>> all right, thank you all very much.

>> thank you.
