Executive Session

View captioned video.

That gets us to executive session. We previously announced 31 would be taken into executive session. That's to discuss effective approval of acceptance of dedication of street and drainage facilities for a portion of Austin lake hills section 2, a subdivision in precinct 3 on September 7, 2004, and take appropriate action. Consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. Does everybody agree with me we should go ahead and three to finish today's agenda? It looks like we can get it done quickly. Posted for executive session, we have postponed 38 -- 39, 40 and 41. We will take 42 into executive session under consultation with attorney. 42 is to receive legal briefing and take appropriate action related to type of contract used when hiring visiting judges. Consultation with attorney. We will discuss these two items in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.

>> we have returned from executive session where we discussed the two items that were announced. Number 31, the matter involving Austin lake hills section 2, we had that discussion. Any action required today? Let have it back on the court's agenda in two weeks or one?

>> two weeks?

>> two week. And two weeks is January 13th. We will have it back on then. We also discussed item number 42 regarding the hiring of visiting judges. We got briefed. No action required today. A week or two?

>> let's put it a week because if we're going to do it, the auditor's office would like to see the changes effective as of January 1.

>> okay. That sounds good to me. It will be back on next week, January 6. That does it for today in the voting session.

>> move adjourn.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. With Commissioner Daugherty temporarily off the dais.
