Executive Session Items

we have been asked to postpone 31 and 33.

32, receive briefing from county attorney regarding remedies to consider for products received from integrian inc.
and take appropriate action.
consultation with attorney exception.
and 34, receive legal briefing on terms and conditions of contracts with the star of Texas rodeo and take appropriate action.
consultation with attorney exception also.
we've returned from executive session where we discussed the only two items that we announced.
Commissioner Daugherty had to run to another commitment and will not be with us for the rest of the meeting.
we discussed item number 32, the matter involving integr integrian incorporated.
I move that we authorize staff to keep negotiating with integrian regarding the 65 dp 2 systems to give them an opportunity to basically replace those systems we have with working systems. John, we have already budgeted $500,000 for this purpose.
the second part of this motion is to authorize --

if you're talking about the new units, cid can take care of that yourself.
>> then let's ask cid to do her thing consistent with our discussion.

we also discussed item number 34, the matter involving the star of Texas rodeo.
I move that we ask the attorney general's office to prepare appropriate amendments to our outstanding contract, which provides a different provisions for only 2009.
there will be two amendments.

>> but we indicate a total payment to the county in the amount of $150,000 plus in kind contributions of services that we need at the expo center, or payment of $30,000 in cash to the county that will otherwise authorize staff to keep working with representatives from the star of Texas rodeo to carry out whatever we need done consistent with the discussions that we've been having with them over the last month.
