21. Consider and take appropriate action on the following: a, a license agreement between Travis County and johnson county for the use of i-jury code developed by Travis County; and b, authorize the Travis County judge to execute the software license agreement on behalf of Travis County; and c we'll have to bring back if we follow the recommendation of staff.

>> it's pretty much ready, isn't it, to move ahead? That was my understanding.

>>

>> [indiscernible], deputy manager for

>> [indiscernible] operations, this is an item from the district court

>> [indiscernible] not an item of administrative operations. But we have looked at the -- at the agreement and what it is, it's sharing code source of i-jury, this one is with johnson county. I believe. And -- but it sets the groundwork for sharing these sorts of -- of innovative programs. For counties and other public entities. It is an agreement.

>> [indiscernible] I think that you worked on the actual -- yeah. Agreement. It's -- it still provides that Travis County have intellectual ownership of the property, that they are to use the property in accordance with our law, our rules and any regulations, that there be no -- I think it goes into a bit of -- of prohibitions of use of them. Of the -- of the property. And that it will be used only for public -- public purpose. It has -- it has a clause in here of termination by either a party providing a 30 day written notice and it has all of the liability provisions that are common in these sorts of documents. And -- and --

>> [laughter] take a breath. Okay.

>>

>> [indiscernible] district clerk's office. I have the form of the contract with the name of the authorized person from johnson county filled in. For signature purposes.

>> okay.

>> other than that, I will be happy to answer any questions that you might have.

>> I move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you.

>> thank you for coming over.

>> and then so we need to --

>> in terms of cyd signing future documents, we'll have it back on next week.

>> correct. That can go consent.

>> but we can authorize you to sign that, judge, on b?

>> right.

>> so move.

>> I sign this one, but we -- I thought that we would just approve a and b.

>> oh, okay.

>> is that how your notes show it?

>> okay.

>> but in -- for cyd to be the person in c we need another item next week.

>> okay.

>> yes.

>> think we got enough copies here? 10 or 12. We are ready for executive session or lunch.

>> hey, I'll go for lunch

>> [laughter]

>> want to go to lunch and try to come back at 1:15?

>> sure.

>> can we do that.

>> that's okay.

>> that's fine.

>> then I move we recess for lunch until 1:15.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Take a few minutes to set up executive session.
