Number 19 is consider and take appropriate action on the funding and extension of contract number il 070209 vr for regional planning/studying with envision central Texas. In the last two years we have funded this at the level of $25,000. We did not discuss it during markup, and when it was called to my attention, I didn't know whether we had intended not to fund this or not.

>> accurately said. We have done this for several years past, but it was not checked on the preference sheet. And so no funds were budgeted this year.
>> do you know whether the city is -- I mean I just heard, I don't know if -- this hasn't been verified, but that the city is not funding this year. Do you know that?
>> I do not know that.
>> well, actually what is supposed to happen, wasn't it a report supposed to be accommodating their performance on what they done last year?
>> we have in the past received some briefings from the staff of the envision central Texas, yes.
>> I'm sorry, I can't --
>> we have in the past received briefings.
>> right.
>> from the director of envision central Texas.
>> well, can we -- have you had the briefing this time around?
>> they normally come to the court to give that briefing.
>> we can see them again if we need to.
>> I think so, judge. If we can just delay this until we can have a briefing, I would pressure that.
>> okay. That's -- we want to try to have the briefing after November 4th or next week?
>> November 4th is not a good time for me, after November 4th, I won't be here.
>> want the try to have it next week?
>> if we can.
>> we'll try to get it here on the 28th, then. We'll find out from the city of Austin what the city of Austin's position is also.
>> thank you.
>> now, we do have a couple of items dealing with the elections so -- and one was added. I don't know whether -- I guess my office needs to contact the county clerk and see if she plans to come down on those items.
