12. Consider and take appropriate action on a license agreement with violet crown sports association to hold a bike race at webberville park. I told joe a few days ago I received a -- comments from a two or three residents of eastern Travis County about these bike races on the public roads. Apparently they do a pretty good job of blocking traffic. I guess most of them are on Sunday morning?

>> I think all weekend long. Saturday and Sunday. This particular race is totally within webberville.

>> a couple of residents complained about inability to get to church on time due to the Sunday morning bike rides. This was in webberville park.

>> that's correct.

>> and the park will remain open --

>> yes.

>> for other patrons to use if they see fit. I did look at the map and the backup. So the only time county roads will be used will be in getting to the park, basically.

>> well, there shouldn't be any road closures associated with this particular race. But I understand what -- what the issue is, is that is on the public roads that -- that there's some -- some blockage going on during these events that are on the county road system. And I'll just look more into that. See how frequently and just how long they are blocking the roads.

>> okay. Two other questions that stand out. This one does have one million dollars worth of insurance. So the question was about liability insurance. The other one is the county receives no monetary benefit as a result of these races. We try to accommodate the teams that are sponsoring them for exercise I guess and recreational purpose and on the weekend you would think that on most of these county roads there wouldn't be just a whole lot of traffic. But we know there is some. So I'm trying to be sensitive to those who believe that their lives have been adversely impacted by -- by bike races.

>> we put together? -- some criteria for that. Right now we try to enable events when requested to do so. We can put together guidelines to do that in the future.

>> I don't have any problem with this. But I thought we should surface that. To be honest I have only gotten complaints from -- I would say three or four residents, but that's not to say that there are not 3 or 400 who feel the same way. So we ought to do what we can, I think to accommodate both. The other thing is apparently from time to time there are law enforcement officials out there assisting. I guess they block off the roads at different points. The problem with bike racers, you have fast bikers and bikers that aren't so fast, right? So it can get kind of strung out. I can appreciate that situation. Otherwise, I move approval.

>> second.

>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. I think that does it for you, doesn't it, joe?

>> yes it does, thank you.

>> okay. We have our county clerk here with us. And there are three or four election related items.
