District #3 (golden triangle) voting session Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. Or upon adjournment or recess of Commissioners court 1. Approve payment of claims and authorize county treasurer to invest road district funds. No investments but claims, that is that claims be paid. Paul in favor? That passes by unanimous vote with director eckhardt temporarily away. 2. Consider and take appropriate action on request to adopt order setting the road district tax rate for the year beginning January 1, 2008: a, total debt service tax rate, b, total county ad valorem tax rate. Mr. Nellis?
>> yes, sir. The -- the proposed debt service tax rate is 11 cents on the northwest road district number 3. And we're here and lad patillo your financial advisor is here if you have any questions.

>> that's correct. Directors in your backup you do see the fiscal year '09 proposed budget. Had a beginning fund balance 364,303. With total revenues of 567371.56 and proposed expenditures being principal, interest, agent fees and appraisal district fees totaling 628,382 with a projected ending fund balance of 303,292.56.

now, let's call back to order the -- move to reconsider action taken in the -- in the northwest Travis County road district number 3, the golden triangle. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. On that second part, previously, we only approved the debt service tax rates of .11 of the $100 valuation. And we have been advised that we also need to approve the same tax rate, I move that we increase property taxes by the adoption of a tax rate of .11, for each $100 valuation of all taxable property, so this will be the total ad valorem taxes.
