Item 5

>> judge, we still have item 5, the budget rules.

>> an issue with the budget rules?

>> move approval.

>> we made the change we discussed last week.

>> we have made those changes. I just want to stipulate one thing, if you don't want to go through the recommended changes.

>> hold on. Consider and take appropriate action on fiscal year 2009 budget rules, this is item number 5.

>> > planning and budget. All the changes are laid out on page 2. I just want to make the court aware that the pay scales as we have them today are attached as well as indirect cost rates. We would like the court's flexibility if you approve the budget rules as presented to update those once they are approved and my understanding is they will be before you before consideration next week if not the 30th. I'm happy to answer any questions or go over anything at length.

>> questions? We have one more week.

>> we do need the budget rules approved today so we can file them with the proposed budget.

>> Commissioner Sonleitner also moved approval.

>> it's eckhardt.

>> [laughter]

>> it's been a long day, y'all.

>> I bet you she's listening.

>> [laughter]

>> trying to keep Commissioner eckhardt on her toes. All in favor, before I mess up further? Show Commissioners eckhardt, Gomez and yours truly voting in favor and economic development.

>> and judge Biscoe's office, I think he needs some more coffee.
