Number 29, consider and take appropriate action on request from family connections to use county owned parking lot at 5335 airport boulevard.

>> good morning, roger khoury. Last Tuesday the court gave us direction to talk to family connections and we did. Facilities management talked to family connections -- by the way is part of child, inc, I believe, and then we -- we talked to them and we negotiated some term and they agreed to the following. They agreed to go ahead and pay $15 per space per month. So in a total of about -- and they want 20 parking space. So that's about $300 per month. That's equate to about $3,600 per year. So they agreed to that terms and also the other terms that they will not be there when we have to make election center and also they will -- the lease will dissolve itself if we start construction over there. Between now until the construction, we have space for them along 53 1/2 street so they can park over there. It's a security issues that the parking lot is secured now. We have a gate. We have a fencing. And the hour of operation, it's from 7:45 until 5:00, but that's still in negotiation about the hours of operation. So we would like to go ahead and send them a simple license agreement. I think the county attorney will draft that for us to review and also I will give it to the executive director and the family connections staff for them to review and we'll bring it back to the court.

>> roger, how will you control, especially during election times and prior to due to construction at that facility, how will that be controlled to make sure there is not -- it's not accessible the way it is now. To those folks because of those conditions that would be on the property.

>> we will be talking to our security staff over there, you know, so they can -- during the time, if I understand correctly your question, during the time of the election, we will make sure there's -- those staff are not parking on this area. We have our security guys that will direct them to that effect. Once they start the construction, normal -- they are going to be -- and if they want to come early, you know, then they have to come through airport boulevard because that's a main gate, it's open at 7:00 in the morning. So they come from there and the parking space. We're going to make the parking space like they are reserved. Nobody else can park except the family connections, vesters and

>> [inaudible] of the.

>> move approval of the terms and conditions that roger just described.

>> second.

>> and authorize staff to put together an appropriate license agreement. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> thank you.

>> thank you, roger.
