Number 23 is to consider and take appropriate action on appointing a presiding and alternate presiding election judge for terry mcginty of two years beginning August of 2008.

We appreciate your aproving the name of the junks today, but -- the names of the judges today, but I would like to make scheer that everyone that we're not finished finding everyone to work in our precincts in November. So this is a call out to anybody who is interested in the elections process. We've got a terrific job for you. It is a paying job. You will receive training. You will be right up front and center in all the action that has to do with the November election. And if you are willing to contribute a day, a part of a day or any kind of schedule, we can accommodate you. And if you speak spanish, we would love to hear from you too. So folks who are willing to serve in our community for a little while, election judges, there are all kinds of jobs out there to help conduct the election. Would you call the county clerk and help with election day. Thank you. Please call 23-vote for an election job.xdfa

>> good point, Commissioner. To serve in the election you have to be 18 years old and a registered voter of Travis County. Within those two requirements, 18 and a registered voter, there are lots and lots of opportunities do different kinds of jobs. So be 18 and be fully registered and you're just fine.
