Now let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation. First item, consider and take appropriate action on request to approve scholarship grant agreement for the oak hill region national fire academy number 6.

>> good morning. My name is mike gonzalez, senior financial analyst for the corporation. Back on April 1st, 2008, the board approved a request by the oak hill fire department for a 15,000-dollar scholarship grant. This would create five 3,000-dollar scholarships for cadets who have interests in participating or actually serving in the fire academy. The board last approved the intent to go ahead and issue the scholarship. What we're doing today is actually coming back with the actual scholarship agreement. The agreement is between the Travis County housing finance corporation and the Travis County emergency service district number 3. Some of the highlights, total funding is $15,000. The funds are to be made available on or before June 30th. It does fund five 3,000 scholarships. Also the cadets do have to document actual financial hardship f they were to self fund for the academy themselves. And they must be below 80% of the area median family income be.

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Number two is to consider and take appropriate action on amendment number 1 to external auditing contract between Travis County housing finance corps and deloitte and touche llp.

>> good morning. Harvey Davis, manager for the corporation. And as you know, the county went out for an rfq for external audit services. And since the corporation's audit is incorporated within the (indiscernible), then the corporations were part of that rfq. And this agreement -- the current contract ends June 30th and this agreement extends it another month, so to provide time to negotiate a new agreement with the same firm, deloitte and touche.

>> so the new expiration date will be July 31st, 2008?

>> yes, sir. And it's parallel to what has been done by the county.

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> discussion? All in favor? That carries unanimously.

>> move adjourn.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
