Executive Session

I believe that gets us to executive session, doesn't it, ms. Porter. We will convene in executive session to discuss the following items: number 35, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action concerning the mckinney falls parkway road improvement project and the condemnation of parcels number 6 and 6-e owned by rks Texas investments lp, a Texas limited partnership. That will be under the consultation with attorney. And real estate property exceptions. Number 36, consider and take appropriate action on counteroffer from Texas 20 limited for the sale of parcel 2 needed as right-of-way in the 2005 bond program, slaughter lane east roadway improvement project, located in precinct four. 37, consider and take participant action on counter fewer the sale of 12 parcells in real estate property and/or easement interest needd for right-of-way in the 2005 bond program, howard lane roadway improvement project, locate understand precinct 1. Consultation with attorney and real estate compensations. And number 38, receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action concerning the extension of administrative leave with pay for starflight employee slot number 7. Consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions to the open meetings act. We'll discuss these in executive session, but return to open court before we take any action.


We have returned from executive session where we discussed the following items. Number 35 involving the mckinney falls parkway improvement project and our need for parcels number 6 and 60 owned by rks Texas limited Texas -- Texas limited partnership. I move that we authorize condemnation.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. 36 is the matter involving the program, slaughter lane east roadway improvement project, and our need to acquire parcel number 2 as the right-of-way. I move that we authorize settlement of this matter for the sum of $95,000.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Item no. 37 is the howard lane east I roadway improvement project, specifically 12 parcels of real estate and/or easement interests. Needed. I move that we authorize settlement for the counter offer in the amount of $221,000 contingent upon our ability to acquire two additional tcp's. Two additional tce's. We need those for the deal, right?

>> we need those out of the deal, right? That's the reason we want to attach this to get the tce?

>> we just want to make sure that's right. Second, discussion, all in favor, signify by saying aye.? All in favor that passes by unanimous vote. 38 I move that we authorize five administrative days applied retroactively to resolve this matter.
