Item 25

View captioned video.

25 is to consider and take appropriate action on a request to hold an additional public meeting on Wednesday, June 18th, 2008, for the purpose of informing the public of the status of the Travis County drainage study.

>> unbeknownst to us, there are already two meetings being held that night. So I think we should just go ahead and move our meeting a week later to the 25th, Wednesday the 25th, there's not a problem for us to do that. I think it will accommodate the court if it wants to attend all of the various meetings that are being held.

>> that doesn't -- Commissioner Gomez, what was your concern there? There was folks like for johnny morris road --

>> there's other hearings, there's one on the cdbg on the 18th, then there's also one on the smart expansion.

>> right. So we didn't want to --

>> yeah.

>> yeah.

>> uh-huh.

>> that's what I’m saying.

>> we just need to move it another week, the 25th.

>> okay.

>> we can do that under this posted -- posting?

>> can we?

>> we sort of set the date of June 18th here. June 18th is not a good one for us, we need to do it one week later. June 25th. Can we do that today in spite of the specific date of June 18th being in the agenda item?

>> I think that you could direct that and I think repost it next week with the correct date. That would cover everything.

>> what's the location of the public hearing.

>> it will be the same satellite 1. All that we are doing is moving it the same hour, same place just a different, week later.

>> okay. That's Commissioner Davis' motion.

>> second. Seconded by Commissioner Gomez.

>> I will repost it again for next week.

>> any more discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> okie-doke, thank you, joe, thank you, legal.
