26 is to consider an take appropriate action on request to extend the end date of slot 1763, a half-time psychiatrist, from may 31, 2008 through September 31, 2008. The question really is whether the sheriff has this funding in his budget. >> okay. Commissioners and judge,. There will not be any funning required for this position if it is filled between now and September the 30th. There is an end date of September 30th that is proposed here for this year. There is an earmark in the allocated reserve for this second part of the psychiatrist. It will not be necessary to use that funding because they can fund it internally. Now, as for beyond '08, they have in their request, and it is a very high priority, and as you know, we in pbo have strongly supported this effort and it will be included in preliminary budget for '09.
