Executive Session

We have come to executive session. Number 33, we need to take into executive session the item that we discussed this morning. We indicated that we had questions for legal. That is item number 13, the matter involving the reserve at west hill phase one. B was the subdivision preliminary plan. C was the phase two final plat. And we discussed it at length and probably not a need to read it anymore. At least I hope not. 33 is to receive legal briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County et al versus bonnie elizabeth ward. C and e, real property llc resale deed, consultation with attorney exception. 34, receive legal briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County, et al, v james edward hen drix, cne real prompt, llc restale deed. 35, receive legal briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action in Travis County et al versus crecencio and nicholas peba loza, virginia var gas rebollar resale deed, consultation with attorney. 36, receive legal briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action to accept, reject or counter settlement offer regarding nicole lee, skull tages with attorney. 37, receive legal briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action to accept, reject or counter segment, procure consultant legislative service. We will return to open court before taking any action.


we have returned from executive session where we discussed the following itemsment number 13, the matter involving the reserve at west hill phase one, the preliminary plan and also the final plat for phase two, it's my understanding that we need another week on this one. Staff and Commissioner Daugherty already contacting residents and the developer that appeared in court to discuss that matter with us this morning. We'll have it back on next week. 33 is the matter involving the proposed resale deed to cne real property and this would involve the defendant bonnie elizabeth ward. I move that we authorize the county judge to execute the proposed tax resale deed to cne real property llc, which has paid Travis County the sum of $3,650.01 in cash. Discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. Item number 34, I move that we authorize the county judge to sign the proposed tax resale deed. This is the second one to cne real property, ll c. This days involve the defendant james edward hen drix. For this deed, the company has paid Travis County the sum of $2,629.98 in cash, and this is lot 10221.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. By the way, that lot is at bar cave ranch's plat. Number 35, I move that we authorize the county judge to sign the proposed tax resale deed to virginia vargas rebolla r. This was the case involving crecencio and pen aye loza. In this case vast vargas has paid Travis County the sum of $18,800 in cashsecond.

>> discussion in all in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. Number 36 was a matter involving a settlement demand regarding nicole lee. Move that we authorize settlement of this case for the sum of $1500.

On number 37, the matter involving options to procure consultant legislative services, I move that we start working on an appropriate request for proposals from consultants and that we aim to have an approved rfp three weeks from today that bee have it on the court on draft in two weeks and make any necessary changes and give ourselves one more week to put it in final shape. We would work with our purchasing office and try to get proposals back for our review at least one month before expiration of the current contract. And that would be late August. Because the current contract expires September 30, right? Second on that? Discussion. All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. Should we, does cyd cr a copy of the rfp we used ten years or so ago?

>> in this case, move adjournment. All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. By the way, after executive session, exister Daugherty had to run to another meeting and missed the votes today.
