20 is to receive midyear report on status of capital acquisition resources account, car, and certificates of obligation, co, projects rebudgeted into fy '08.

>> good afternoon, judge.

>> good afternoon.

>> recently started handling the capital accounts from ms. Rio. What this is, back in the fy '08 budget process in the late summer, early fall, Commissioners court approved pbo to take a midyear process, midyear review of all the rebudgeted capital items. Those are items that had been funded in previous fiscal years, the money had not been spent, the projects were not completed, they were not encumbered or monies were not spent and they were being rebudgeted into the new fiscal year. Basically what the midyear review is intended to do is remind the department that money is there for this project, you didn't spend it last year or mane maybe in the last two years. Where are you on it. We really want to see you spend it wisely on the project that it was approved for. We got the responses from all the departments on car and on the co's also. Most of the departments are making headway. A lot of the money has already been either expensed or encouple berd. There are a few projects where the projected are going off a little slower than expected. Usually that is due to external circumstances or having to work with other agencies . Just other issues that they are having to deal with. I’ll be happy to go over any of these with you.

>> any questions about any particular ones? We're looking pretty good.

>> yes, sir. We'll do the the regular review again in July once the preliminary budget is out. And we'll have the rebudgeting of car and co's again in early September, usually during mark-up. I’ll be doing that for the first time this year. I hop you will bear with me on that one. I’m nervous.

>> you are looking forward to thatyesser.

>> yes, I am looking forward to that.

>> thank you very much.
