>> > > I’m melissa velasquez I work in judge Biscoe's office. I would like to introduce a wonderful new addition to our office. Nicole grant who comes to us from delmar, california. And so far the first week has been just awesome.

>> > > I would like to thank judge Biscoe for this wonderful opportunity. I -- I really feel honored to be a Travis County employee. And -- and I would also like to thank my office mates, melissa, josie, sheryl and I agree my first has just really been very smooth, very easy, it's because I’ve really had a warm welcome from -- from judge Biscoe. Everybody has been really welcome, opening, I’m really excited to be a part of Travis County. I look forward to learning a lot and do everything that I can to support the office and -- and residents of Travis County. Thank you.

>> > > let me add. That she has a -- a b.a. In literature and theater that she got from sarah lawrence college in bronxville new york, a graduate of the howard university school of law. And has had some interesting experiences, was a merit scholar in law school, first year, award for excellence in legal writing and research third year clinic in washington d.c., criminal and justice course experience, studied theater in london. She looks like an Austinite, but she's really world traveler.
