Executive Session
That brings us to executive session. Do we need to take either wmi or bfi into executive session? Any legal questions regarding those? I think we got the information we need today. A 1 is to consider and take appropriate action on a counteroffer for the sale of parcel number 3 ea and 3 eb needed for right-of-way in the 2005 bond program mckinney falls parkway program improvement project, on locate understand precinct 4. This is under the real property exception to the open meetings act. And that is item number 27, consider and take appropriate action regarding the selection of Travis County executive manager, planning and budget. And when we come back to court, we will take action on not only item 27, but on the other items we discuss this had morning.
good afternoon. We've returned from executive session and we're ready to take action on the items from this morning and afternoon. Number 24 is a request from comal county for an ag opinion on a density of development issues question. Move that we thor the county attorney to submit a legal memorandum in support of comal's position on behalf of Travis County.

>> judge, I move that we receive and accept the offer of 1.9 million -- $1.95 million from balcones resources. And that we direct staff to -- county staff to make sure that the conveyance language include the restrictions and that we authorize the judge to sign the contract along with the addendum d that reflects the actual restrictions. I’d like to have the copy become public record after all the executions have taken place on this particular motion, provide a copy of that to the affected neighborhood association so it would be a part of their record.

Rhodes for this position at a beginning salary of $137,000. And that we pay relocation expenses. And that $6,000 will be a one time payment by the county. Discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

We did agree to let staff do additional work on this item and then bring it back to court for further consideration. And I think we agreed that next Tuesday would be enough time, right? So we'll have it back on on April 15th. Unless we learn that additional time is needed. 29 is a matter involving county-owned land at 969 on -- on farm road 969 in Travis County. Move that we authorize staff to go ahead and obtain an appropriate appraisal of the county-owned property there as well as an appropriate survey so we will know exactly what property the county owns.

>> and by the way, the funding for those two services will be provided by facilities from its lease budget. Seconded by Commissioner Gomez. Any more discussion? Favor? All in favor favor? That passes by unanimous vote. A-1, the final item, is the matter involving the sale of parcel number 3 and 3-e-a and 3-eb to the county for the mckinney falls parkway road improvement project.
>> judge, on that I would move that we follow staff recommendation on the purchase of those parcels. And the amount -- total amount is $92,711.50.

>> judge, I’d like to say that we adjourn -- before we adjourn is I would like to thank the community, all the neighborhood associations that worked real hard, working with balcones resources and the esd and everybody to try to make sure that this sale of the county-owned property went through as smoothly as it did. And of course, there was some fine moments, but it does come across smoothly. I would like to thank staff and everybody's participation on this particular matter. Thank you.
