That passes unanimously too. Now let's call to order the Travis County housing finance corporation. One item. Consider and take appropriate action on request from meals on wheels and more for $250,000 from Travis County to support building expansion.

>> good afternoon, I’m harvey Davis, manager of the corporation. And I’m here with dan pruitt, who is the ceo and president of meals on wheels. Including in your backup is some information about the available funds and the housing finance corporation and health facilities development corporation. So other than that I’m here to answer any questions.

>> I think we have said that maybe it would be like in two years? In a period of two years. So not the whole amount would be from one year. So if we broke it down, would that be possible? How would we break it down?

>> well, yeah. There is funds in the health corporation that would -- that we would be able to honor the 250,000-dollar request.

>> all at one time?

>> it will strain it if you do it --

>> all at one time or still separated into two years?

>> I think it would -- I would recommend two years.

>> right.

>> just to be on the safe side.

>> okay.

>> if we do it October 15th both years, is that okay?

>> that's absolutely great. As we said before, just the commitment, and that's what we appreciate. And the timing isn't quite as important as the willingness of the court to do it.

>> so 50 in five years?

>> that's too slow.

>> I thought I’d run that by you.

>> [ laughter ]

>> do like half one year and half the other.

>> right.

>> and the way that we have prepared contracts like what we did with meals on wheels back in '99 was that the funding -- the funds were released, the first funds were released when they were actually doing the construction. In other words, we could go out and they could see that they had raised the funds and they were actually building something. And then we felt comfortable that they were going to be able -- they had the resources to finish the construction.

>> move that we commit -- that we approve a request of $250,000, payable in two equal payments of 125,000 each, the first on October 15th of 2008 if construction is underway. And that the board authorize the president to prepare a letter of commitment indicating this commitment for delivery within the next few days.

>> second.

>> is that okay?

>> that's good, judge.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. With director eckhardt absent.

>> move adjourn.

>> sir, this is out of the health corporation.

>> health facilities, yes, sir.

>> second.

>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.

>> judge, one last thing. Thank y'all very much. We greatly appreciate it. As I mentioned to you last time I was here, this is the commitment that puts us over our goal to begin construction, and we will probably break ground on the displuks about three months. We would be be honored to have you there with shovels and hard hats to help us break the ground to serve the citizens of this community. Thank you so much.

>> this is to expand the kitchen facilities?

>> is the whole facility -- it's the whole facility with a major expansion of the kitchen to meet the needs of this community for the next 20 years.

>> it's going, isn't it?

>> growing like crazy.

>> good luck to you. Good to see you again.

>> thank you.

>> keep up the good work.

>> thank y'all.

>> that was all too easy, wasn't it?

>> no.

>> [ laughter ] thank y'all very much.
