Executive Session

We'll take the ice item into executive session under consultation with legal counsel. That's number 24. 25, 26 have been postponed. Are we ready for 27? 27 is to consider and take appropriate action regarding a settlement agreement with cc carlton industries, ltd, for east metro park. That's consultation with attorney exception also. 28 is to consider and take appropriate action on the following Travis County appointments to the Austin-Travis County e.m.s. Advisory board. A, an emergency services district Commissioner. B, a local physician. C, a Travis County representative. And d, a consumer. And we're going into executive session under the personnel matters affecting county advisory body exception to the open meetings act. We'll discuss these matters in executive session, but will return to open court before taking any action.


we have returned from executive session where we discussed the following items. Number 27, the matter involving cc carlton industries limited for east metro park. I move that we approve the proposed settlement agreement.

>> discussion? All in favor. That passes by unanimous vote. We also discussed number 28. I move that we appoint bob taylor to fill, a, an emergency services district Commissioner. And that we appoint paula s.barr to fill c, a Travis County representative.

>> discussion? All in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. The other items were postponed and we will have them back on the agenda either next week or at the appropriate time in the future. We also discussed item number 24, the matter involving the policy or practice to facilitate the bureau of immigration and customs enforcement review within the Travis County jail. There is a meeting at 6:00 o'clock this evening. I move that we encourage the sheriff and his representatives to meet with residents and try to work through the issues that seem to be flowing from this policy or practice.
