Executive Session
Now backing up to number 18. Vacation of a subdivision named scenic point that we discussed moments ago, we will take that into executive session under the consultation with attorney exception to the open meetings act. We will also take into executive session the items posted, remember we pulled 25 this morning. That left two other items. 24. Receive briefing from the county attorney concerning acquisition of right of way and temporary construction easements by eminent domain for the howard lane east construction project, as follows: parcels: #29 and 29 tce, 30 and 30 tce, 31 and 31 tce, 32 and 32 tce, 33 and 33 tce, 34 and 34 tce; on the howard lane east ii road improvement project, -- tce stands for what? We'll find out when we come back. Our -- our citizens must be as curious as I am about that. 33 and 33 tce, 34 and 34 tce; on the howard lane east ii road improvement project, record owners: jennifer jo bird and her husband john bird, and take any necessary action. This is posted under the consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act. And number 26, consider and take appropriate action regarding selection of executive manager, justice and public safety under the personnel matters exception to the open meetings act.

we are out of executive session where we discussed these items. Number 18, we'll have this back on at the appropriate time in the future. Number 24, which involves the howard lane east and howard lane east 2 road improvement project.

I move that we tell our intention to hire roger jeffreys to fill this position. We authorize the county judge to negotiate with mr. Jeff withries this week and have this item back on the court's agenda for final action as appropriate next Tuesday.
