Item 25

View captioned video.

We have been asked to pull item 25 until further notice.

>> that's correct.

>> item 25.

>> judge, can I ask Commissioner Davis a question on 25. I realize that Commissioner you want this to go through a process. Would you mind telling us what you want the process to be?

>> I sure don't mind doing that. This is county-owned property to begin with. And I would like to have this property, as far as going up for sale, treated just as any other property that the county sells as we have done in the pastment an example, the burnet road farmers market project that we finally sold that particular piece of property. But there was neighborhood input into that property selling. So I just think the neighborhoods ought to be aware of that. The surrounding area. That's a hot area and if you remember that's the area that we dealt with sun coast here, recently, above ground fuel storage tank facility. Just by practice that we have already established of allowing neighborhoods to be involved with that particular setting I think is more appropriate that we do that. Of course we had a consultant at that time that actually dealt with the negotiations, selling of that property. Of course I think that this is still the same case. Those particular entities or person or whoever would like to purchase this property go through that process also with the consultant. I just want to treat this as we have treated other properties that we have sold. I don't want any difference in my area as it is in any other area of the community. The process, that's what I’m talking about. I have no idea Gerald. My name is on there, I had no idea. No one notified the Commissioner that this particular item was coming on the agenda even though my name is on it. In my mind that's not good practice. So that's why I’m pulling it and letting it go through a process, thank you.

>> can I ask you, I respect that, I think that needs to go through the process Commissioner just like everything else, I’m 100% supportive of that.

>> thank you.

>> but do we --

>> do we need to call the item up and discuss it?

>> the time today? We have been -- we have discussed the process. I do agree, when I saw it I wasn't sure. But maybe the wording ought to change so we discuss --

>> it should, it should, judge. I have already --

>> let's pull it and discuss it.

>> we can do that, discuss it outright, which is fine.

>> discuss how to deal with it.

>> exactly. I have no problem with it.

>> thanks for starting that joe, you were the one, weren't you?
