>> region 6.

>> good morning, christie moffett, Travis County health and human services.
Travis County receives community development block funds from the u.s.
department of housing and urban development.
with every project that we -- that we use, cdbg funds for, we have to assess the impact, the physical environment.
on December 5th we came to you with the environmental assessment that was completed for the north ridge acres water improvement project.
we determined t.n.r.
did the assessment and it was determined that there were no findings of significant impact to the environment.
as a result of that we had to post for a public comment for a 15 day period for people to be able to comment on the results of the environmental assessment.
that period began December 15th and ended on December 31st.
no comments were received.
if the court certifies the results today, we forward the signed documentation on to the h.u.d.
san antonio office.
where they have an additional 15 day period.
where people can comment on the release of funds.
funds to the north ridge acre project, also any procedural issues they may find with the document.
that public comment period should end on or about January 22nd, so we would expect to release the funds from h.u.d.
on or about January 23rd.
so we are requesting today that you certify the funds or certify the results of the environmental assessment.
authorize the judge to be the certifying official, which the county attorney's office previously had determined was appropriate per federal regulations.
and then also authorize us to submit the information to h.u.d.
san antonio so they could -- that they can commence their comment period.

>> any review comments we didn't receive it.

>> we did not have any comments.

>> the environmental assessment done in house --

>> correct, by t.n.r.

>> questions or comments?

>> move approval.

>> second.

>> and that's to certify the results, authorize the county judge to sign and authorize submission to -- to the u.s.
department of housing and urban development, right?

>> yes, sir.

>> discussion?
we got a second?

>> uh-huh.

>> all in favor?
that passes by unanimous vote.
thank you very much.

>> thank you.
