Travis County Commissioners Court
December 18, 2007
Item 1
1. Receive comments regarding a plat for recording in precinct three: revised plat of lot 63, apple springs subdivision (2 total lots.
>> move -- move to open the public hearing.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote.
>> good morning, joe gieselman and anna bolin from the transportation natural resources department. Property owner of lot 63, appear pep springs wishes to subwide a one lot into two lot subdivision. It will meet all of the requirements of the county's subdivision ordinance. We believe it is consistent with the deed restrictions of this subdivision. The purpose of today's hearing is to receive any public comment with regard to the proposed resubdivision.
>> would anyone like to give testimony during this public hearing? Item no. 1? Please come forward if you can give us your name, we would be happy to get your comments.
>> my name is sharon
>> [indiscernible] I’m the property owner. We're the fifth lot to subdivide in our subdivision, we're not the first. I’m sure we're not going to be the last. The last one that came up also was approved unanimously back in 2004. I’m not going to bore you with documentation or anything, but I have it if anybody were to have a question or if anybody had objected. We have already passed p and z approval and Leander city council approval because we're in the e.t.j. And only about half a mile from the edge of the city limits right now. So we've already had our plat signed off for by the p and z and city council there. Of course it was reviewed by Travis County in the format they wanted it in before they would approve it.
>> you're in favor of this.
>> oh, absolutely.
>> why don't you just sit right there. Let's see if there's anybody in opposition.
>> I don't think there is.
>> then my recommendation is let us approve 22 for you.
>> I would love to you do that.
>> thank you very much.
>> move to close the public hearing.
>> second.
>> all in favor? That passes by unanimous vote. And we will try to make that part of the consent item this morning, which we will get to real soon.
