>> let's call up item no. 3, consent after that. 3. Approve resolution recognizing ronald w. Holland and francis parks for service on the board of directors of cen-tex development corporation and the dedication of the holland-parks building in precinct 4. Rosa rios valdez is here as the executive director of centex to accept the resolution. Whereas ronald w. Holland and francis parks in 1990 agreed to serve as founding directors of centex, a extraction business development organization whose purpose is to create jobs and grow the local tax base. Whereas under their leadership, centex development corporation has grown from a regional economic development organization to a state-wide non-profit, now known as business and community lenders of texas, bcl. Whereas during the many years that mr. Holland and mr. Parks have served on the bcl board of directors, september entrepreneurs of all types across texas have been provided over 12,600 hours of free consultations. Whereas mr. Holland and mr. Parks leadership on the bcl board has also resulted in over $210 million in business development capital for growing firms and more than 328,250,000 in payroll throughout texas communities. Whereas mr. Holland and mr. Parks, along with their board, colleagues, had the vision to form other affiliate companies to assist working families in owning and retaining their homes, which resulted in over 2,961 families who have achieved home ownership by providing affordable housing through single family and multi-family developments in various texas cities. Now therefore be it resolved that the travis county commissioners court does hereby recognize the accomplishments of these two distinguished volunteers and recognize that -- the dedication of the highland parks building located at 2212 south congress avenue, the historic main street of austin, texas. And i move approval.

>> mr. Holland and mr. Parks have been volunteers for 17 years for our economic development firm. They have traveled hundreds of miles because our board members are from various cities across texas and so they travel hundreds of miles to get to our meetings and we're delighted to have them recognized with the building dedication. We are going to be recognizing that -- that -- the two gentlemen this thursday at our congress avenue location and you are certainly all invited to come and thank you for -- for the recognition today. On thursday, we've -- we will be officially dedicating the building as the holland parks texas entrepreneurial center. We appreciate your recognition today.
